Emergency services are searching for an 18-year-old man who went missing after a pedal boat carrying four young people capsized in a lake earlier this morning near Olsztyn.
Initial Report and Rescue Effort
Emergency services received a report regarding two individuals in the water shortly before 7:00 AM. Upon arrival, officials determined that four people, aged 18 to 20, had been involved in the incident.
Outcome of the Incident
The group was traveling on a pedal boat when it overturned. When police and firefighters arrived, they found three people on the shore suffering from hypothermia.
Ongoing Search Operation
One individual remains missing. A specialized team equipped with sonar is currently working at the scene to locate the man, according to Junior Brigadier Łukasz Wróblewski of the State Fire Service in Olsztyn.
