A serious collision on Poland’s S7 near Zgorzała left one Volvo crushed, its driver in a critical state, and closed the road to Warsaw direction on December 16.
Accident details
A Volvo stalled on the left lane near Zgorzała in Piaseczno county. Shortly after, a BMW collided with the rear of the stationary vehicle. The impact was severe, crushing one car nearly in half.
Victim condition
The Volvo driver was unconscious with serious injuries and was transported to a hospital. No casualties were reported from the BMW driver.
Police investigation
Police are conducting investigations to determine the exact causes and circumstances of the crash.
Traffic advisory
Authorities warn that traffic toward Warsaw is completely blocked. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and obey on‑site directives.
Alternate route
Commuters are advised to detour via the Tarczyn or Szczaki junctions, then continue on Krakowska Avenue.
