The collision occurred on state road number 579 in the town of Tłuste, Grodzisk district. A 41‑year‑old Filipino citizen was hit on a marked crosswalk without traffic lights and was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Driver and Vehicle Information
The 21‑year‑old driver of a Dacia vehicle struck the pedestrian who was already on the crossing. The victim was yielding to another driver when a second vehicle approached from the opposite direction and crashed into her. The Dacia driver is sober and has been detained, remaining at police disposal.
Response and Medical Care
Four police units and a medical rescue team responded to the scene and established a shuttle traffic arrangement. The critically injured woman was transported to hospital for treatment.
