A foreign food delivery motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a car at a Warsaw intersection after allegedly running a red light.
Accident Details
Yesterday (March 5) at approximately 23:20, a serious collision occurred between a motorcycle and a passenger car at the intersection of Kasprzaka and Ordona streets on Warsaw’s Wola district.
The motorcyclist, a foreign food delivery worker riding a Yamaha, was taken to the hospital following the accident, which caused traffic disruptions in the direction of Bemowo.
Collision Cause
Preliminary findings indicate the motorcycle rider was coming from Ordona Street when he allegedly ignored a red light, leading to a collision with a properly moving Toyota heading towards Redutowa Street.
Impact and Response
The force of impact was very strong, throwing the motorcycle dozens of meters from the accident scene. The motorcyclist suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Fire brigades, a medical rescue team, and police secured the area and worked to establish the exact circumstances of the accident.
Traffic Disruptions
During the emergency response, traffic towards Bemowo was blocked. Drivers experienced significant delays in this part of Wola, particularly near the Kasprzaka-Ordona intersection.
