Accident Details
On February 10, before 11 o’clock, a collision occurred between a passenger Toyota and energy-absorbing barriers on Aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia, before the intersection with Czorsztyńska Street, heading toward Ochota.
The force of the collision was so significant that one of the car’s wheels was torn off.
Driver Condition
Preliminary findings suggest the driver may have fainted at the wheel and possibly lost consciousness, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.
The driver was taken to the hospital after receiving first aid at the scene.
Emergency Response
Fire brigade, medical rescue team, and police were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters secured the area, provided first aid to the driver, and then handed him over to medical rescuers before he was transported to the hospital.
Traffic Impact
During the rescue operation, two of the three lanes heading toward Ochota were blocked.
A significant traffic jam formed on the S8 route side, with traffic flow restored around 12:30.
