Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and Totalizator Sportowy have signed a letter of intent to collaborate on educational programs, research, and community initiatives.
Partnership Agreement Signed
Totalizator Sportowy and the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) have formalized their cooperation with the signing of a letter of intent. The collaboration will involve educational and development programs for Totalizator Sportowy employees, as well as analytical work conducted by SGH for the company.
Scope of Cooperation
The partnership will also include participation in events and initiatives aimed at the academic community of the Warsaw university. Totalizator Sportowy has a 70-year history of contributing to the country’s development, serving as a major patron of sports and culture.
Investment in Employees
Beata Stelmach, CEO of Totalizator Sportowy, emphasized the importance of the company’s 7,000 employees and the commitment to their education and professional development. The agreement is seen as a confirmation of this commitment.
Creation of the Totalizator Sportowy Academy
SGH will support the company by leveraging its academic potential, including the creation of the Totalizator Sportowy Academy—an educational and development program for employees—and the launch of a postgraduate study program for its management team.
Impact Report and Museum Project
As part of the collaboration, SGH will prepare an “Impact Report of the Totalizator Sportowy Group,” providing a comprehensive analysis of the company’s impact on its surroundings. The partnership also includes a social component, with projects aimed at the student community, and plans to establish a Museum of the Warsaw School of Economics.

Piotr Wachowiak, Rector of SGH, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, particularly during the university’s 120th anniversary. He expressed confidence that the partnership would be mutually beneficial, especially given Totalizator Sportowy’s own 70th-anniversary celebration.

Dorota Niedziółka, SGH Vice-Rector for Development, described the collaboration as a demonstration of maturity and awareness from both institutions, marking the beginning of a long and fruitful journey.
Totalizator Sportowy’s Financial Contribution
Mariusz Łaszkiewicz, Vice President of Totalizator Sportowy, noted the company’s role in managing gambling in Poland and its significant financial contribution to the state budget, with planned contributions exceeding 6 billion złoty this year.
