Investors face conflicting demands over new shelter declarations due to faulty transition rules in construction law.
New Shelter Requirements
Some investors are receiving requests to submit declarations confirming their obligations regarding shelters or hideouts with specific resistance and capacity, or to organize temporary shelter spaces.
This is a new requirement introduced from January of this year.
Conflict with Transitional Rules
The issue arises because some officials are demanding this document from investors who began their formalities before the new year.
This stems from incorrectly worded transitional clauses in the latest amendment to the construction law.
Supervisory Office Intervention
The Main Building Supervisory Office has stepped in to resolve this situation.
