On Tuesday morning at about 7:00 a guard passing a trash shelter near Raabe 7 heard loud, desperate puppy whines. He entered a bin and discovered a plastic bag containing a litter of newly born puppies; only one was alive, while the other four had already died.
Immediate Response by City Police and Guard
The guard immediately notified the City Guard of Warsaw and the police. An eco‑patrol unit was dispatched to the address, seized the living pup and transported it to the Paluch Shelter for further care.
Police Investigations and Witness Appeal
Police gathered evidence, including footage from available cameras, and are collecting witness statements. Officers have asked nearby residents to provide any monitoring or dash‑cam recordings showing anyone carrying a two‑layer bag—lavender on the inside, bright yellow on the outside—before 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
