A 42‑year‑old man in Radom fired at a Mercedes parked near a red‑light intersection after an Iveco pulled over. The shooter used an object resembling a gun, striking the car’s windshield and door, but the driver of the Mercedes was unharmed.
Police Response
Within minutes of receiving the incident report, Radom Crime Division officers chased the suspect. They located the shooter and his 32‑year‑old partner in one of the city’s residences.
Raid and Arrest
For several hours, officers from the Radom Police Headquarters, the Local Anti‑Terrorism Unit, and police from Szydłów entered the apartment. They arrested the 42‑year‑old and his partner, seized more than 20 g of marijuana from the premises, and collected two pneumatic guns from the suspect’s vehicle.
Charges and Evidence
Prosecutors charged the suspect with endangering life or causing serious bodily injury, possession of narcotics, and property damage. Prior convictions for similar offences were cited, making him a repeat offender. Evidence also shows disregard for court orders, as he drove despite two judicial injunctions and used a non‑registered license plate on his car.
