President Sheinbaum Pardo’s Response

“What happened today in Teotihuacan deeply pains us. I express my deepest solidarity with those affected and their families. We are in contact with the Canadian embassy. I have instructed the Security Cabinet to thoroughly investigate the matter and provide all necessary support. (…) We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to provide updated information through the Security Cabinet,” stated Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo on X.

Ukraine’s Evolving Role in the Conflict

Kyiv is no longer solely requesting aid but is offering invaluable military expertise that the West lacks. The roles have reversed – Ukraine has become an expert in survival, demonstrating its ability to independently paralyze the foundations of the Russian war machine, according to ppłk rez. Maciej Korowaj, a former officer of the Military Intelligence Service of the Ministry of National Defense, in an interview with Wyborcza.pl.

Suspect Committed Suicide

Mexican authorities stated that the attacker committed suicide after firing the shots. A firearm, a bladed weapon, and ammunition were secured at the scene. Teotihuacan is one of the most visited archaeological sites in the country. The area was temporarily closed to visitors following the shooting.
