Vandalism in Brussels

The consulate’s façade was splashed with red paint, and harassing slogans appeared, including the English word “killers,” the Polish phrase “j***ć mur” (“damn wall”), and insults targeting Frontex, the EU agency that manages external borders. The graffiti was removed; no evidence of the damage remains.

Security and Investigation

Night‑time footage shows 3–4 masked individuals spraying paint and one recording the act. Police are analysing the surveillance, while the municipality of Etterbeek sent a cleaning firm to the site. No trace of the vandals has yet surfaced.
