At approximately 19:55 on Monday, November 10, a fire erupted in the attic of a brick single‑family house located on Żurawiej Street in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Five fire crews responded, and the blaze was immediately brought under control.
Emergency Deployment and Site Actions
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a spreading fire in the attic of a two‑storey building measuring roughly 10 × 8 m. Flames and thick smoke were seen issuing from the loft. The response included three units from JRG Grodzisk Mazowiecki, one from OSP Grodzisk Mazowiecki, and one from OSP Milanówek, with police, gas, and electrical emergency services also dispatched.
Current Situation and Recovery Work
No injuries were reported at the scene. Current operations involve demolition of damaged roof structure components, extinguishment of remaining embers, and a thorough search of the building to eliminate hidden fire pockets while securing the site.
