Six-Year-Old Walks Tracks Alone, Miraculously Survives Spain Train Crash

A six-year-old girl miraculously survived a train crash in Spain after walking alone on the tracks; her entire family perished in the disaster.

The Only Survivor of the Entire Family

The girl was the sole survivor of her family in the crash near Adamuz. Her parents, 12-year-old brother, and cousin died. They were returning home to Aljaraque from a weekend trip to Madrid, where children saw “The Lion King” musical and visited Real Madrid stadium.

“She Walked Alone on the Tracks”

Nighttime rescue found the child walking alone on tracks near derailed wagons. A Guardia Civil officer, returning from a private trip, assisted her. The officer kept her warm in a patrol car with heating and noted the girl spoke only of her parents.

The Extraordinary Courage of the Six-Year-Old

The girl escaped the wreckage by removing her coat and shoes to maneuver through damaged train parts. A Guardia Civil representative called her incredibly brave. She suffered only a minor head injury and is under care of extended family.

The City in Mourning

Aljaraque authorities confirmed the deaths of four family members. They owned a children’s clothing store in Punta Umbria. The mayor described “immense pain and disbelief” and declared mourning days.

One Story Among Dozens of Tragedies

The death toll reached at least 43. Rescue operations and investigations into the high-speed train collision continue. Families report missing persons, and victim identification proceeds slowly. Spain declared three days of national mourning.
