Ski schools and companies are still advertising winter lessons at Szczęśliwice Hill, even though the resort’s slope will be closed throughout the 2025‑2026 season for modernization.

Season‑Long Closure Announced

The ski slope on Góra Szczęśliwicka is scheduled to be shut for the entire 2025‑2026 winter season due to infrastructure upgrades. Operators state that training and commercial activities on the slope will be impossible until work completion by mid‑2026.

Modernization Plans

The resort’s operator says the overhaul will replace and rebuild key elements, including ski lifts, after years of use. Work includes design, agreements, and construction‑installation phases, aiming to restore full functionality once the season ends.

Advertising Confusion

Despite the official closure, online listings from schools and firms still offer winter camps on Szczęśliwice, detailing week‑long programs during holidays, age and skill groups, “on‑slope” training blocks, online sign‑ups, and schedules and pricing. An agent from 2Times said they are waiting for a January decision, “in case the slope becomes available.”

Impact on Parents and Stakeholders

With the official announcement that the slope will remain closed, any lessons or activities advertised for the 2025‑2026 season at Szczęśliwice must proceed with extreme caution. The uncertainty remains until construction concludes and the slope reopens.
