Słomińskiego Surface Replacement Causes Weekend Congestion

Road crews will mill Słomińskiego Street from the Radosław AK Gathering roundabout to Gdańsk Station on Friday night through Monday night, shutting the left lane and disrupting weekend traffic.

Road crews will mill Słomińskiego Street from the Radosław AK Gathering roundabout to Gdańsk Station on Friday night through Monday night, shutting the left lane and disrupting weekend traffic.

Prior to the milling, the route toward the Vistula will be narrowed.

Curb Replacement Commences

The comprehensive upgrade of Słomińskiego Street is now progressing as the tramways have finished track replacement and the road works will address curbs before laying new asphalt.

The work started Monday, 3 November at 7:00 with curb replacement.

Lane and Intersection Closures

Road workers have closed the left lane on the Słomińskiego stretch toward Gdańsk Bridge from the Radosław AK Gathering roundabout to Gdańsk Station. Intersection with Pamiętajcie o Ogrodach remains fully open on all lanes.

The traffic roundabout at Gdańsk Station is closed.

Surface Milling Schedule

Surface milling will begin Friday, 7 November at 22:00 and continue until the night from Monday to Tuesday, 10‑11 November, around midnight.

The entire eastern side of Słomińskiego toward Gdańsk Bridge will be closed during this period, from the Radosław AK Gathering roundabout to Gdańsk Station.

Route Diversions

Drivers will be directed along Okopowa Street and Jan Paweł II Avenue to Stawki and Anders streets, then onto Bonifraterska and Międzyparkowa streets to reach the bridge. From Pamiętajcie o Ogrodach one lane may exit right toward the bridge.

At the Radosław AK Gathering roundabout, drivers on Okopowa will have two lanes left and one lane right. On Jan Paweł II from Żoliborz, the leftmost lane may turn straight and turn back. From central approaches, the rightmost middle lane is closed, leaving only straight driving.

Bus Service Adjustments

During the milling, bus line 409 heading toward Bródno Podgrodzie will use Powązkowska, Dziką, Jan Paweł II Avenue, and Anielewicza Street to stop at Esperanto 03, ending its route there.

Line 500 to Bródno, and night lines N12 and N62 toward Metra Trocka and PKP Wołomin will operate via Jan Paweł II Avenue and streets Stawki, Muranowska, Bonifraterska, and Międzyparkowa.
