Sokołów Police Dismantle Car Theft Operation

Sokołów police arrested two men and dismantled a car dismantling operation, recovering two stolen Toyotas and various car parts.

Police Discovery and Arrest

Sokołów police, acting on operational intelligence, tracked down and raided a property in Sokołów Podlaski municipality, discovering an illegal car dismantling operation.

During the operation on March 4th, officers arrested two men, aged 32 and 46, who were caught in the act of dismantling stolen vehicles.

Seized Evidence

Police secured two partially dismantled Toyota hydrogen cars that had been reported stolen from Wołomin County, along with various car parts including BMW body components.

The suspects were also found to be in possession of illegal narcotics at the time of their arrest.

Criminal Charges and Detention

The men have been charged with intentional fencing of valuable property and possession of psychotropic substances in violation of the law.

Following a request from the prosecution, the District Court in Sokołów Podlaski ordered the temporary detention of the suspects on March 6th.

The suspects face up to 10 years in imprisonment if convicted of the charges.
