Military analyst Jarosław Wolski left Kanał Zero in early February, prompting founder Krzysztof Stanowski to publicly criticize his departure.
Stanowski’s Criticism of Wolski
On February 17, Krzysztof Stanowski, founder of Kanał Zero, commented on Jarosław Wolski’s departure, stating that Wolski’s announcement about his departure was not sincere. He referenced a provocation involving Wolski sending a recording allegedly from Channel Zero’s college to Zbigniew Stonoga.
Stanowski recalled, “When everyone rushed to attack with this sewage, with these slanders, you figured it would be the best day to announce that you would no longer work with Kanał Zero. I have a feeling you’re somewhat of a deserter.”
Wolski’s Departure Timing Controversy
Wolski announced his departure at a time when Kanał Zero was being criticized for a report by Maria Wiernikowska about life in areas near Kaliningrad. According to Stanowski, Wolski’s decision was related to this situation.
Stanowski accused Wolski of abandoning the channel during a controversy, saying, “When there’s a problem, you tear the flag from your sleeve and say: ‘I never really liked them anyway.’
Wolski’s Response to Stanowski
According to Wolski, Stanowski commented on his departure from Kanał Zero “very inelegantly.” Wolski detailed their communication history, mentioning that Stanowski invited him for a steak in Warsaw when he wanted to work with him.
Wolski wrote on X, “When you wanted me to work with you, you invited me for a steak in Warsaw. When I wanted to meet with you to discuss winding down ‘Militarne Zero’ because I’m working on my own project, Defence Channel, you couldn’t find time for that.”
Wolski’s Earlier Plans to Leave
Jarosław Wolski revealed that he had wanted to leave Kanał Zero at the end of last year. However, in December, a material appeared on Kanał Zero with pro-Russian streamers, Wojciech Olszański and Marcin Osadowski.
Wolski explained, “But then you released ‘Kamraty.’ I thought that looks bad, so I’ll wait over a month. You release a tribute to Putin by Ms. Wiernikowska. Sorry, but I won’t wait for Kim Jong Un.”
