Just before Christmas, students from Youth Therapy Center No. 7 and the Street Medical Patrol visited several shelters where people facing homelessness crisis stay.
Culinary Connection
The students brought a thermos of homemade hot pumpkin soup, a gesture that helped break the ice and sparked conversation with their hosts.
Unexpected Local Author
During the visits, one of the residents revealed they had written and published a book of confectionery recipes, catching the interest of the young chefs.
