In practice, in the course of economic turnover, there is still a belief that not receiving a parcel allows avoiding familiarization with its content and postponing in time the legal consequences related to the service of documentation or the making of a declaration of will.
However, the applicable provisions foresee consequences for persons intentionally avoiding receiving correspondence, introducing the fiction of service.
