CBOS poll shows Civic Coalition leading but Partia Grzegorza Braun gains most support in January 2026 survey.
KO Leads, PiS Stable
In the latest CBOS poll, the Civic Coalition was indicated by 29.3% of respondents, marking a decrease of 1 percentage point compared to the early December survey. Law and Justice received 20.4%, with the party’s result showing practically no change.
Third place went to the Confederation with 11.2% support (down 1.3 percentage points), followed closely by the Confederation of the Polish Crown.
Braun’s Party Sees Largest Increase
Partia Grzegorza Braun recorded an increase of 2.8 percentage points and now has 9.8% support. “This is the largest increase and the biggest change recorded in this survey,” notes CBOS in its review of the results.
Other Parties Below Electoral Threshold
The New Left received 5.8%, with support remaining at a similar level. Partia Razem scored 4.9%, an increase of 1.1 percentage points. “As in previous months, below the electoral threshold are the ratings of the Polish People’s Party (1.4%) and the internally troubled Poland 2050 of Szymon Hołowni (1.3%)” – reports CBOS. 12.8% of respondents did not know who they would vote for, while 2.5% refused to disclose their political preferences.
Poll Without Undecided Voters
CBOS also prepared a breakdown without “hard to say” responses and refusals to answer. In this case, the support distribution appears as follows: KO – 33.1%, PiS – 24.1%, Confederation – 12.6%, Polish Crown – 11%, New Left – 6.5%, Partia Razem – 6.2%, PSL – 3.5%, Poland 2050 – 2.3%, other party – 0.7%. The study was conducted by computer-assisted telephone interviews and internet interviews between January 26-28, 2026, on a sample of adult residents of Poland (N=1000).
