On Monday, May 4th, around 9:00 AM, a car and a truck collided on Krakow Avenue in Łazy, Piaseczno County. The driver of a Volkswagen struck the rear of a MAN truck near the intersection with Przyszłości Street.

The incident occurred on Krakow Avenue in Łazy, in the direction of Warsaw, at the intersection with Przyszłości Street. The driver of the Volkswagen reportedly hit the back of the MAN truck.

Emergency Response

Emergency services – firefighters, paramedics, and police – were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters secured the vehicles and the area, providing initial aid to the injured person in the car.

The injured individual was then taken to the hospital under the care of paramedics.

Driver Information and Penalties

The Volkswagen driver was a 20-year-old citizen of Tajikistan and tested negative for alcohol. The truck driver also tested negative for alcohol, and both drivers had valid driving licenses.

The left lane towards Warsaw was blocked during the investigation, causing traffic disruptions.

Fines and Hospital Release

The car driver received a fine of 1020 Polish złoty and 10 penalty points. The injured person from the Volkswagen has since been discharged from the medical facility.
