Polish MEP Tarczyński defends praising ICE after a fatal shooting, declaring intent to work in a deportation ministry.
Tarczyński Defends ICE Post
Dominik Tarczyński addressed his controversial post praising ICE agents in Minneapolis, where they fatally shot 37-year-old US citizen Alex Prettii. He wrote “Dobra robota, ICE! FAFO” (Good job, ICE! Fuck around and find out). Tarczyński defended his stance, stating the man attacked agents while armed and that praising ICE’s actions remains valid. He emphasized wanting a strong state with decisive actions against illegal immigration.
Tarczyński declared, “Jak Bóg da i będzie wola, wrócę do Polski pracować w ministerstwie deportacji” (God willing and if there is a will, I will return to Poland to work in the ministry of deportations). He linked deportations to Poland’s safety and investment prospects.
Giertych Files Complaint
Lawmaker Roman Giertych announced he is filing a complaint against Tarczyński, calling him a “degenerate.” Giertych stated, “Kto pochwala dokonanie zbrodni zabójstwa, podlega odpowiedzialności karnej” (Whoever praises the commission of a murder is criminally liable). Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek expressed disgust at Tarczyński’s “zachwyt” (admiration).
Matecki Backs Deportation Units
Dariusz Matecki defended Tarczyński, writing “Pełne poparcie dla Dominika Tarczyńskiego” (Full support for Dominik Tarczyński). He called for units similar to ICE in Poland, stating “Komuś się nie podoba twarda walka z nielegalnymi migrantami? Trudno!” (If someone doesn’t like the tough fight against illegal migrants? Too bad!).
Żulczyk’s Sarcastic Response
Writer Jakub Żulczyk mocked Matecki sarcastically, comparing their admiration for such units to childish fantasies. He wrote, “Lgniecie do tego świata jak mali samotni chłopcy” (You cling to this world like little lonely boys) and warned, “Tylko uważaj, korniszonie” (Just be careful, pickle).
Minneapolis Shooting Details
