Three soldiers of the United States Army were killed and five others sustained serious injuries during an operation targeting Iran. This information was officially announced by the US military command.

Polish President Expresses Condolences

President Karol Nawrocki reacted to the news of the soldiers’ deaths: “With deep sadness, I received the news of the death of three American soldiers and the serious injury of five more during an operation against Iran – a state supporting Russia and destabilizing the region. I join in mourning with the families of the fallen, with US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and the American people.”

Polish Defense Minister Stands with Allies

Vice Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized the importance of Polish-American relations: “The United States – Poland’s greatest ally – lost three of its sons today in a retaliatory attack carried out by Iran. Several others were injured. In our thoughts and prayers, we are with them and their families.”

Kosiniak-Kamysz added: “Before our eyes, a dangerous Iranian regime is falling, which was arming Russia in its invasion of Ukraine and threatening other countries in the Middle East. We stand together with our allies!”

Trump Vows Retaliation

US President Donald Trump promised to continue operations against Iran and retaliate for the death of American soldiers: “That’s how it is. There will probably be more, but we will do everything possible to prevent it. America will avenge their deaths and deliver the most severe blow to terrorists who have declared war on civilization.”

Civilian Casualties in Iran

The Guardian, citing Iranian state media, reported that the death toll from a rocket attack on a girls’ school in southern Iran has risen to nearly 150. The school was attacked on the morning of February 28 and is likely the deadliest single attack in the US-Israeli bombing campaign in Iran.

In the US, anti-war demonstrations have been taking place since the announcement of operations in Iran.
