Three-Car Crash on Ursynów Intersection Sends One to Hospital

A three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Pileckiego, Roentgena, and Ciszewskiego streets in Warsaw’s Ursynów district on Monday resulted in one hospitalization and significant traffic delays.

Collision Details

On Monday, April 13th, shortly before 10:00 AM, three cars collided at the intersection of Pileckiego, Roentgena, and Ciszewskiego streets.

One person was injured and transported to a hospital, and the accident caused substantial traffic disruptions for an extended period.

Initial Findings

Preliminary investigations suggest the driver of a Mitsubishi, traveling on Pileckiego Street from the direction of Puławska, entered the intersection on a red light.

This resulted in a collision with a Renault, which subsequently struck a Suzuki.

Suzuki Rollover

The Suzuki sustained the most significant damage, overturning onto its roof before coming to rest on its wheels.

Emergency Response

Firefighters, paramedics, and police were dispatched to the scene.

Emergency personnel secured the area, assessed the involved parties, and transported the Suzuki driver to the hospital.

Traffic Impact

The accident caused major traffic problems in the area, blocking passage from Roentgena Street to Ciszewskiego Street.

A left turn from Pileckiego Street onto Ciszewskiego Street was also prohibited, and traffic flow on Pileckiego Street from Puławska was reduced to a single lane.

Investigation Ongoing
