Circumstances of the Accident
The incident occurred yesterday (January 22) around 17:15 in Niemiry (gm. Brańszczyk, pow. wyszkowski). Police determined the accident happened in a built-up area with difficult road conditions – a road surface covered with snow and ice. A 42-year-old Fiat driver attempted to brake when three children unexpectedly ran onto the road, but couldn’t avoid hitting the 3-year-old. The driver was sober.
