Police from Piaseczna responded to a speeding Ford driver who refused to stop near Warsaw. During the chase, the driver threw a safe with cash and a phone out the window before being apprehended.

The driver was identified as a 24-year-old from the Małopolskie Voivodeship.

Stolen Items Recovered

Police recovered a hammer and stolen license plates during a search of the suspect’s vehicle.

The thrown items—a phone and safe with 80,000 zł—were secured, as police suspect they were linked to other crimes.

Suspected of Attempted Murder

The suspect was wanted for a knife attack at a Warsaw hotel where he allegedly attempted to kill a guest, stabbing them twice.

He has been charged with attempted murder, punishable by life imprisonment, and remanded in custody for three months.
