Intersection Conditions

Despite this, traffic in this area usually runs smoothly, and the intensity of traffic is low.
Historical Context
Interestingly, the intersection itself was used as a setting in one of the scenes of Wojciech Smarzowski’s film “Drogówka” and was the backdrop for a serious fatal car accident caused by a drunk driver.
Later, in 2013, a real fatal accident occurred there, where traces of the event are still imprinted on the viaduct pillar. At that time, 59-year-old Wacław Nycz died in it – a world-class pilot, three-time gold medalist (1985, 1987, 1992) in world and European precision airplane flying.
Recently, at the end of October, a serious accident also occurred at this location.
