Toyota Driver Crashes into Sign, Lamppost, and Sound Barrier in Łomianki

A woman driving a Toyota crashed into a road sign, sheared a lamppost, and struck a sound barrier on DK7 in Łomianki Monday.

Incident Details

The accident occurred on Monday at 14:29 on national road No. 7 (DK7) at the intersection of Kolejowa Street in Łomianki, Warsaw West County. For unknown reasons, the driver entered a traffic island at a road junction, causing her car to hit a road sign.

The Toyota then sheared a lamppost and came to a stop on a sound barrier. Services temporarily blocked the exit from DK7 onto Brukowa Street during the incident.

Driver Condition

The woman was examined by paramedics and sustained no injuries. The driver was found to be sober and was subsequently issued a penal fine for the incident.

Emergency Response

Two fire brigades, a medical rescue team, and police officers responded to the scene. Police secured the incident and restored traffic flow before concluding their procedures.

Traffic Impact

During the emergency response, traffic disruptions occurred on DK7, with the exit onto Brukowa Street being temporarily blocked. Normal traffic conditions were restored once police completed their work.
