Woman driving Toyota crashed into road infrastructure in Łomianki on Monday, temporarily blocking traffic on DK7.

On Monday, on national road No. 7 in Łomianki, there was a road traffic incident in which a driver of a passenger car hit road infrastructure, and services temporarily blocked the exit towards Burakowa Street.
The incident occurred at 14:29 on DK7 – on the section of Kolejowa Street in Łomianki (Warsaw West County). According to on-site findings, the driver of a Toyota Corolla passenger car for unknown reasons at a road junction entered a traffic island. The car hit a road sign, then sheared off a lamppost and ended up on a sound barrier.
Driver and Response
The woman was examined by paramedics. She sustained no injuries. The driver was sober – she was fined with a penal ticket.
Two fire brigades, a medical rescue team and the police intervened at the scene. During the services’ actions, traffic disruptions occurred – the exit from DK7 to Burakowa Street was temporarily blocked. Police officers ended their activities on site after securing the incident and restoring traffic.
