A Toyota passenger car crashed onto the tram tracks and collided with barriers on Powstańców Śląskich Street in Bemowo on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m., resulting in no injuries.

The incident occurred on Powstańców Śląskich Street near Czumy Street. A Toyota lost control, veered onto the tram tracks, and struck the safety barriers separating the road from the rail line.
Both the driver and the passenger were unharmed. Preliminary investigations indicate the driver failed to adjust their speed to prevailing road conditions.
Emergency Response and Traffic Impact
Emergency services, including firefighters, were deployed to assist in removing the vehicle from the tracks. The driver, who tested sober, was issued a fine for causing the collision.
Public transport operator WTP reported delays and route changes for tram lines 10 and 26 due to the obstruction. Traffic flow returned to normal following the removal of the vehicle.
