Toyota Driver Hits Rear of Stationary Truck on Grot‑Rowecki Bridge

At about 9:30 p.m., a Toyota struck a parked truck in traffic on the Grot‑Rowecki Bridge, damaging the sedan’s front and causing a minor injury.

Collision Details

At approximately 21:30, a Toyota sedan collided with the rear of a truck that was stopped in traffic on the transit lane of the Grot‑Rowecki Bridge. The impact forced the sedan into the truck’s cab, significantly damaging the front of the car.

Emergency Response

Firefighters and medical rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. One passenger from the Toyota was examined; no hospitalization was required. Firefighters disconnected the sedan’s battery and inspected for fluid leaks.

Traffic Impact

The collision caused delays on both the transit lane and the local lane toward Konotopa, blocking one lane of each. Traffic through the bridge was slowed in that direction.
