Three people died Monday morning in Chyliny when their bus crashed into a parked truck; passengers were disabled patients traveling for dialysis.
Accident Details
The incident occurred Monday, February 2, around 6:25 AM in Chyliny, Maków County, Mazowieckie Voivodeship. Mazowiecka Police stated the minivan likely rear-ended a parked truck with a trailer, causing the vehicle to leave the road, hit a ditch, and strike a tree. Three passengers—a man and two women aged 40 to 65—were killed.
TVP Info confirmed the bus was transporting disabled patients to a hospital medical consultation. Miejski Reporter reported the passengers were traveling for dialysis treatment.
Police Investigation
Authorities confirmed both the minivan and truck drivers were sober. Police are conducting procedural actions under a prosecutor’s supervision. Due to the ongoing work, the Maków Mazowiecki-Szelków route near Chyliny is completely blocked.
