A man died after being hit by a train near Grodzisk Mazowiecki station on Saturday morning.
Incident Details
On Saturday, January 17, around 9:40 AM, an accident occurred on the tracks near PKP Grodzisk Mazowiecki station, causing train traffic disruptions.
Reports indicate the man entered the tracks from the platform under a Wrocław–Białystok train. He died at the scene from injuries sustained.
The train was carrying approximately 350 passengers.
Investigation Ongoing
Firefighters secured the incident area and assisted passengers in exiting the train. The last wagon stopped within the platform boundaries.
Police are currently focusing on identifying the deceased man as part of their investigation.
