A car crash on the S19 expressway near Jeżowe, Poland, claimed the life of journalist Katarzyna Stoparczyk, known for her work with children, on Friday.

The accident occurred around 15:00 when one car rear-ended another near the Rzeszów Junction.
Fatalities
Two people, both approximately 45 years old, died in the crash: Stoparczyk, the journalist, and her male companion.
Injuries
Three others sustained injuries, with one person airlifted to the hospital via rescue helicopter and another in an ambulance.
