A 46-year-old man died in a fire at a wooden residential building in Małkini Górne early this morning, despite rescue efforts.

Firefighters and police responded to a fire at a wooden residential building in Małkini Górne (Ostrów County) after receiving reports at approximately 2:00 AM.
Victim Identified
Emergency services evacuated a 46-year-old male resident from the burning building, but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. A doctor pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Investigation Underway
Police are conducting an investigation under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Ostrów Mazowiecki. The body has been secured at a funeral home for autopsy, which will determine the cause of death.
Cause of Fire to be Determined
A court expert in firefighting will be appointed to determine the cause of the fire. The Malkińska police will continue investigating the incident.
