On Sunday, November 23, a train driver in Koszalin spotted a black plastic container with fiber‑optic cable beside the tracks near the Polytechnic station, prompting police to secure the area.

In the early afternoon of Sunday 23 November, a train driver observed a black, plastic, cylindrical container from which cables emerged. ‘We confirm it is a fiber‑optic cable ready for installation,’ said police spokesperson Izabela Sreberska.

Train traffic was normal, with no delays reported.

Police Secure the Site

Police officers were dispatched immediately to secure the area adjacent to the tracks near Koszalin Polytechnic. The object lay directly beside the rails, and authorities ensured the scene was safely contained.

Sabotage Activities on Warsaw‑Dorohusk Line

During the weekend of 15‑16 November, two incidents occurred on the Warsaw‑Dorohusk rail corridor. Polish services identified them as sabotage carried out on orders from Russia.

In the village of Mika, a fragment of rail track was blown up. In Gołąb, a derailment forced the emergency stoppage of a train carrying 475 passengers.
