A tram and a Honda collided at the intersection of Lotników Avenue and Puławska Street in Warsaw on Tuesday morning, resulting in one hospitalization.
Collision Details
On Tuesday, March 31st, a tram on line 4 collided with a Honda vehicle at the intersection of Lotników Avenue and Puławska Street around 8:00 AM.
Initial reports indicate the Honda driver, traveling on Puławska Street from the city center, turned right onto Lotników Avenue, failing to yield to the approaching tram line 4 heading towards the Wyścigi loop.
Impact and Emergency Response
The tram pushed the car into a traffic light and a street sign. Firefighters, paramedics, and police were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters secured the area and the damaged vehicles. Paramedics examined those involved, transporting the car’s driver to the hospital. No injuries were reported among tram passengers.
Traffic Disruption and Investigation
Tram traffic on the affected section was suspended for approximately 1.5 hours while emergency services operated and police investigated the incident.
As of the report’s preparation, the initial police investigation was complete, and tram service had resumed.

According to WTP (Warsaw Public Transport): “Due to a road incident in the area of the Puławska / Lotników Avenue intersection, there are disruptions to tram lines 4 and 10. Tram lines 4 and 10 heading towards the Wyścigi terminus have been shortened to the Metro Wilanowska loop.”
