Tram Line 28 Collides with Peugeot at Broniewski Crossroad, One Person Injured

On Friday, Oct. 3 at about 16:45, Tram Line 28 hit a Peugeot on the intersection of Broniewski and Perzyńskiego, injuring the driver and halting tram service until 17:22.

Incident Details

The collision occurred near the intersection of Broniewski and Perzyńskiego streets in Warsaw, with Tram Line 28 approaching from the city center. The driver of a Peugeot attempted a left turn onto the tracks and directly struck the tram at approximately 16:45 on October 3.

Emergency Response

Firefighters, medical rescue teams, and police were dispatched to the scene. The injured driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Service Disruption & Resumption

Tram traffic on Broniewski was stopped while rescue and cleanup operations were carried out. Service was restored at 17:22.
