Trump Asked How Far He’ll Go on Greenland; Replies With Three Words

Donald Trump declines to specify limits on acquiring Greenland, saying, “You’ll find out.”

Trump vs. Greenland

When asked by a journalist how far he will go to acquire Greenland, Trump replied, “You’ll find out.” He mentioned that many meetings concerning Greenland are planned during the World Economic Forum in Davos, expressing optimism that everything will work out well.

NATO and Security

Trump assured that he will agree with NATO on “something everyone will be satisfied with,” emphasizing the need for it for national and global security. He also claimed to have done more for NATO than any other person, living or dead, and stated that NATO must treat the US fairly, questioning whether allies would come to America’s aid given the US’s financial contributions.

Trump’s Threats Regarding Greenland

In a previous interview with NBC News, Trump vowed to fully impose tariffs on European countries opposing his demand to control Greenland. He added that Europe should focus on Russia’s war with Ukraine. Trump asserted that the US needs Greenland, criticizing Denmark’s inability to protect it, despite praising Danish leaders. He also noted that NATO has warned Denmark about Russian threats to Greenland for 20 years.
