Ukraine War: Victims of Attack on Zaporizhzhia
On the night of January 28-29, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia Oblast with drones. In the town of Vilniansk, three people died and three were injured in explosions. According to witnesses, Russian drones attacked civilian objects.
Eight residential buildings were damaged, including one completely destroyed. Ukrainian media emphasize that every Russian attack destroys energy and heating infrastructure. Thousands of people in Ukraine have no electricity, water, or heating. The upcoming wave of cold will worsen the situation. Ukrainian forecasters predict that low temperatures, down to minus 20 degrees Celsius, will persist for three weeks. “The bad news is that the cold is coming. But there is also good news – we have to endure for three weeks and it will get easier,” said head of the parliamentary energy commission Andriy Herus.
