White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced on Wednesday, January 21, that President Donald Trump would meet with Polish President Karol Nawrocki at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The Polish President’s Office confirmed the information to Polish Radio. Shortly after, Nawrocki posted on X: “Thank you, Mr. President, for a successful meeting!” accompanied by a photo with the American leader.
Trump’s press services also indicated the US leader planned meetings with the leaders of Belgium and Egypt, as well as NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The White House spokesperson stated Trump would also deliver a speech to business leaders. On Thursday, Trump is scheduled to convene his Peace Council, followed by talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski, and interviews with CNBC and Fox Business.

Security for the continent, the future of transatlantic relations, and rebuilding diplomatic dialogue amid global divisions dominated Polish President Karol Nawrocki’s schedule in Davos on Wednesday. The key event was his participation in a special session led by Donald Trump. The Polish president also met with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof.
Nawrocki joined an exclusive group of leaders for an informal meeting of world economy leaders (IGWEL). The session, themed “Rebuilding the Spirit of Dialogue in a Divided World,” focused on finding common ground amid growing geopolitical polarization.
