Trump on Immigration and European Leaders
During the interview, Trump noted that some European leaders are “unusually numb” to the suggestion that their citizens are prioritized over others. He singled out Hungary’s Viktor Orbán, a leader whom other leaders say they hate, yet Trump said Orbán does “fantastic work.” Trump added that the United States allows no immigration into the country, having accepted only a few Ukrainians due to the war.
Trump Praises Poland, Cites Unknown Supporter
Trump described Poland as a wonderful country and highlighted an unnamed individual who helped secure an election victory. He expressed surprise at the victory, stating that the person would be a great president, while noting that Poland does not accept migrants. Trump did not name the individual or detail the “common friend.”
Trump on the Ukraine War and Russia
Asked about the ongoing conflict, Trump said he had good relations with President Putin and claimed he had resolved some long‑running wars in a short time, expressing pride. He stated that the Russia‑Ukraine war “never should have started” and called it a bloody, awful conflict with many soldiers, unprecedented since World War II. Trump said he hopes the conflict will end soon and noted that pressure via India and oil might influence Russia.
