President Donald Trump intends to replace Attorney General Pam Bondi, with plans for her to take on another role within his administration, Fox News reports.
Bondi to Step Down as Attorney General
Pam Bondi will no longer serve as the Attorney General of the United States, Fox News reported Thursday following a conversation with President Trump.
Trump plans to announce Bondi’s removal soon, but wants her to remain in the administration in a different capacity.
Temporary Replacement Named
Todd Blanche, Bondi’s current deputy, will temporarily assume the role of Attorney General.
Further details regarding Bondi’s new position and a permanent replacement have not yet been disclosed.
