Trump’s Hand Bruises at Davos Raise Health Concerns

President Trump’s bruised and discolored hand, photographed at the World Economic Forum in Davos, has revived media speculation about his health.

Trump’s Hand Bruises at Davos

Once again, the topic of bruises on President Trump’s hands has resurfaced. This time, they did not escape the notice of photographers present at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where Donald Trump is currently staying.

Journalist Aaron Rupar shared photos of the politician’s left hand on platform X. “His left hand—not the one that is usually deformed—now has a large bruise and is discolored,” he wrote.

“Worrying photos of President Trump from Davos,” stated Polish Radio correspondent at the White House, Marek Wałkuski, who shared the journalist’s post.

White House Explanations and Medical Opinions

Bruses on the hands of the American president have interested the media for some time. In the past, the White House explained this as intense handshaking and Trump taking aspirin. Meanwhile, medical experts have noted that similar bruises are common in older people and usually do not indicate serious health problems.

They point to blood vessel fragility, minor injuries, and the effects of blood thinning medications.

Trump’s Health Sensitivity

Trump’s health remains a sensitive topic, especially since during the campaign he emphasized the weakness of his predecessor, Joe Biden, and stressed his own energy and fitness. After taking office, the administration had to react several times to questions about the president’s examinations, diagnoses, and behavior.

In April of last year, the White House published a report on the president’s health. Among other things, it stated that Trump does not suffer from any serious health problems, “blood flow to the limbs is unobstructed,” joints and muscles “have no swelling,” and the skin shows “minor sun damage,” but without “concerning changes or growths.”

Trump at Davos Economic Forum

On Thursday in Davos, Donald Trump met, among others, with Volodymyr Zelensky. They spoke in the corridors of the World Economic Forum. The topic was to be a potential peace treaty and Ukraine’s reconstruction plan.

“These were productive talks,” Ukrainian President assessed his meeting with the US President in Davos. He also stated that there would be no further peace negotiations involving the US, but also Russia. They are to take place on Friday and Saturday. On the same day in Davos, a Peace Council was established.

Its creation was announced by the President of the United States, who stood at its head. During the ceremony, a document in this matter – the Founding Act – was signed.
