Donald Tusk participated in the European Council session on March 19-20, with discussions centering on EU competitiveness, the situations in Ukraine and the Middle East, the new EU budget, European security and defense, and the European Emissions Trading System.

Tusk stated that he successfully advocated for maintaining the Eastern flank as a priority within the EU’s conclusions.

Rumors of Reshuffle Dismissed

When questioned about potential changes to the government, Prime Minister Tusk stated he was unsure where the rumors originated.

He acknowledged that some media outlets had reported on his alleged plans for a further government reconstruction, but he confirmed he currently has no such plans.
