On Saturday, November 22, after 2 p.m., Prime Minister Donald Tusk informed that President Volodymyr Zelensky had called him to outline Ukraine’s position on the American peace proposal. He said the plan requires joint effort, that Russia cannot impose conditions on Ukraine and Europe, and that any Polish‑related matters must be settled with the Polish government.
Zelensky Consults European Leaders on War‑Ending Plan
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with the heads of Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland, as well as with Prime Minister Tusk, the strategy for ending the conflict with Russia. He highlighted Ukraine’s joint initiatives with Europe and the United States aimed at concluding the war and thanked each leader for supporting Ukraine’s fight for freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Zelensky Reaffirms Ukraine’s Pursuit of Dignified Peace
He stated that since the war’s outset, Ukraine has sought a dignified peace more than anyone else and is doing everything possible from its side. Zelensky also expressed gratitude to all leaders for their assistance to Ukraine.
