Two recent polls show shifting public opinion on Donald Tusk’s government with varying results.
OGB Poll Shows Changing Ratings
According to an OGB poll, 30% of respondents rate Donald Tusk’s government positively, while 47.2% rate it negatively. 22.8% gave a neutral rating.
This represents a decrease of both positive ratings by 2.4 percentage points and negative ratings by 1.8 percentage points compared to February. Meanwhile, the share of neutral ratings increased by 4.3%.
A year earlier, in January 2025, 25.9% of respondents rated the government positively, and 54.2% negatively.
Historical Highs and Lows
The highest percentage of positive ratings for the government was recorded last November (34.2%), and the lowest in August (23.5%).
The most negative ratings so far were in August (55.6%), and the least in May (46.8%).
CBOS Survey Shows Slight Improvement
In the latest CBOS survey, 34% of respondents declared themselves supporters of Donald Tusk’s government, an increase of 1 point compared to January.
Meanwhile, 41% identified as opponents, a decrease of 1 point. 22% of respondents have a neutral stance, and 3% have no opinion.
Government’s Poll Trajectory
The current government recorded its highest percentage of opponents in a survey since the beginning of its term in July last year (48%).
The highest percentage of supporters was recorded in February 2024 (41%).
