Tusk Identifies Ukrainian Saboteurs Behind Railway Attacks

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on Tuesday that investigators have pinpointed two Ukrainian citizens working with Russian intelligence as the culprits behind recent acts of railway sabotage.

On Tuesday, after an extraordinary meeting of the Government National Security Committee, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk gave a speech to the Sejm, announcing that investigations had identified the individuals responsible for recent acts of sabotage.

Identified Saboteurs

Tusk said the culprits are Ukrainian citizens who have been cooperating with Russian intelligence. He added that they had already crossed the Polish border through Terespol and left the country.

Intentional Railway Attacks

The Prime Minister emphasized that the attempts to blow railway tracks and damage railway infrastructure were deliberate and aimed at causing a catastrophe in rail traffic.

Operatives’ Departure

He clarified that the two identified Ukrainian citizens have been collaborating with Russian services for an extended period.
