Eight Countries Join France’s Advanced Nuclear Deterrence Plan
Earlier on Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron said that eight countries had agreed to participate in the advanced nuclear deterrence proposed by France. Among these countries, he mentioned Poland.
France to Temporarily Deploy Strategic Forces in Europe
President Emmanuel Macron emphasized that France will be able to temporarily deploy elements of strategic forces at its European allies. As he said, this means that like in the case of strategic submarines, “French carrier aircraft will be able to be deployed across the European continent.”
France’s Partners to Participate in Nuclear Exercises
Macron noted that as part of advanced nuclear deterrence, France’s partners will be able to participate in exercises with their involvement.
