Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk released his festive wishes on Christmas Eve, accusing traitors pretending to be patriots and urging unity and love.

On the morning of Christmas Eve, Prime Minister Donald Tusk began the video with a reminder that “the power of Christmas is great, which is why we eagerly await it each year.” He emphasised that daily news is suffused with sadness and fear, asking why the world has gone mad.

He highlighted the rising tide of lies and hatred that he believes heralds a new era, stating that war criminals feel fearless while traitors masquerade as patriots.

His Call Against Betrayal

Tusk warned that aggressors seek more power and that victims are abused for money and humiliating tribute on televised cameras.

He described “cowardice, contempt, violence” as the growing evil that must be countered by the power of love and goodness inside our hearts.

Unity and Love for the Nation

He said the Christmas season shows that we are not alone; “we have many, millions of hearts that carry great strength.”

He urged that if we stay together, honesty, truth, integrity and mercy will prevail, and that Christmas bring light, love and courage to all families.
